You think all the animals in or shelter are in trouble now, without the caring and kind volunteers, the animals would be royally screwed! The volunteers are the heart and soul of our shelter, and without their donated time, the animals wouldn't even have basic needs like food and water. They already have no medical treatment from Dr. Dealth! These exceptional and dedicated people go into our filthy shelter and care for the animals. It is the only kindness they receive. Dr. Dealth and Barbara are just dreaming up new ways to limit their life. They are two very disgusting individuals! A very recent poll was taken by all the volunteers, and guess what, it was unanimous for the disgust of what goes out there by Eric Anderson. What a surprise!! It can't go on like this too much longer, KARMA is kicking in THANK GOD and THANK GOD for all you volunteers! My hat is off to all of you!

I allready put this on another subject on this blog. But Friday they were going to kill dogs and start after the place closed at 5:30. Dog walkers walked those poor dogs that were going to be killed. How they did that I dont know. The dogs got the fresh air, sunshine and got to smell all the wonders of life. Only they were dead in a hour or more after there walks. My friend said he heard that some of the volunteers looked so very sad. There hearts were breaking. There is a man who has written a book about "no kill shelters" and he says you make room. You dont have to kill. Those awful people who are killing the animals there have forgot that without the animals they would not have jobs. How do they sleep at night and do they even wonder what will happen to them when they die. Needless killing is what is happening. Needless killing. I heard that the place is so filthy that they get ringworm and kill animals instead of treating over that. I heard that they got a bad cat disease that killed many. I heard that they put cats without disease in a room with cats that were sick and locked the door. I dont know how anyone can volunteer in this place but hey maybe that is what theywant out there. No voluntgeers - then they can kill for NO REASON ATALL. Hang in there volunteers. Dont let them chaise you out. Help the aniamls and report these people to the police.

I watched that City Council meeting at a friend's last Tuesday which was December 18th, 20007. I saw those volunteers speak from their hearts. One in particular (don't know names) was so emotional that it was hard for her to continue. Those guys running the county sure helped the volunteers by pulling back almost a million dollars that was already allotted and funded for shelter improvements. How's that for a thank you to the dedicated volunteers and a Christmas present for the animals? What a bunch of Grinches! Maybe Santa should put coal in their stocking and then make them put their shoes on so that every step they take would remind them of the daily, hourly, minute by minute suffering of animals in that antiquated dump that they call the San Luis Obispo Shelter.
